Find a restaurant that puts down paper table covers and it's going to be good. The meat was fresh and cooked to perfection. Love the mom and pops type of place.

We discovered this lovely spot while searching for authentic Portuguese food in the area. Most places near the beach are geared toward tourists and don’t offer any real local dishes, but this one was a gem. Warm, cozy atmosphere and excellent service. We also noticed we were the only foreigners there—a good sign! Definitely saved it on Google Maps so we can come back next time we're on holiday here.

Wow! What a beautiful place, the hospitality and warmth from the family who own this place is priceless. The food was delicious, if you love Prawns, it is a must try! Beautifully cooked Portuguese style steak! Thank you AnnaBella and team.

Great meal at Recanto. The food was delicious, freshly prepared and full of flavor. The service was great — friendly, attentive, and welcoming from start to finish. The staff really made us feel at home. We also tried the local medronho, which was tasty and smooth — a perfect way to end the meal. Highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for an authentic and enjoyable dining experience!

We enjoyed a good recommendation for the wine.
The server spoke French with a lot of humor, making the meal even more enjoyable and leaving a very good memory! (We did not ask for his name).
Thank you to the whole team 😃

Everything here was very dignified, and meat and pumpkin soup, and wine is my favorite verde with light gas. A warm, cozy, atmospheric place. Portions are large, prices are …

My husband and I stopped in for lunch following a tour of the monastery. The food was probably the best we had during our 10 day trip. I had the bacalau and my husband enjoyed the shrimp. We also started with the buratta appetizer which was likewise delicious.
Would definitely recommend this rest…

I went on a honeymoon to see the Bellum Tower.
The fish are thick, the squirrels are too ripe, and the shrimp is disruptive. The liver was thought to be a little thick, but the potatoes and broccoli were in harmony.
I wanted this to be the real cuisine that maximized the taste of European food ingr…
