We almost cancelled our visit after reading a few negative reviews, but I’m so glad we didn’t! We ended up coming back for a second night because we loved it that much.

A small place tucked away in the narrow streets behind the noisy and chaotic city center. If you want some peace and quiet and good food, this is the place to come. It's just what you need!

Service was prompt, staff was so nice!
We had the bread, butter and olives. Then followed with the clams for an appetizer, they were so delicious!
She had the spare ribs, and said they tasted so good! I had the portuguese style steak, it was absolutely delicious!
The bread pudding was delicious! Its a cold one, not a hot one in case that matters to you.

This restaurant is a hidden gem!!!
Being located outside of the main strip and areas it offers a calm and cozy atmosphere for late night dining!
Fresh seafood cannot be better when being close to the sea as the octopus salad and cataplana are highlights of our dinner!
To accompany this greatness a bright glass of house white wine was indeed refreshing.
While being seated outside on the other side of the restaurant, we were never forgotten!
Our server was consistently checking up on us.
Many thanks for this excellent dinner!

The only place I visited twice during my trip to Albufaira. Genuinely, a hidden gem with outstanding food just off the main square. You can miss it easily, we only found it during a search for Franchesina, which was excellent and easily as good as I've had in Porto. The second visit we had Portuguese steak, and Piri Piri chicken. Both fantastic. The deserts are also delicious, we tried a few and couldn't pick a favourite between them. Street dining gave a nice vibe and the staff were really great. If you're in Albufaira and want some authentic Portuguese food and culture definitely worth a visit. The sangria is also some of the best in town!!

Lovely little restaurant only 30 meters off of the square.
Food was excellent. Portions are very generous and prices are very reasonable.
I should have asked for the name of our waitress just to say that she was very helpful...... but I am a clown and didn't ask.

This was a hidden gem. Just up an alley from the huge noisy restaurants in the square where we did not want to eat. Amazing portugese lunch. We had chicken piri piri and the presentation was remarkable. Very reasonably priced and delicous.
