Lovely host and food, we had the bacalhau a bras and the shark plus some olives and deserts. Everything was really delicious. We will hopefully return in the new year.

Superb restaurant. On the outskirts of Sagres. I stopped by while on a bike tour of the region. Though it was moderately full when I visited for lunch I think I was the only foreigner present.

Delicious food. I had a hearty and hot lasagna - took about 20 minutes to arrive. Others has their food more quickly (I suspect due to different preparation times).

Word to the wise: payment is done at the small bar counter in the room adjacent to the restaurant. You don't need to sit there waiting for the bill like me.

It's a little local authentic family run restaurant just right at the edge of Segres. Everything is a bit slower than usual, but the house style pork was amazing and worth of waiting. 🙂

Authentic and very friendly environment, food was perfect, local/domestic dishes.
I am really surprised about some comments regarding the poor interior or smthng. It was perfectly clean, chairs are actually quite new, but it’s just small local restaurant staying nearby the road.
Local people it here, what for me always a sign of a good quality, btw prices are really cheap considering the food quality.
Small parking place but u can always park on the other side of the road.
And one remark to those looking for Michelin standards, you have to go and look than Michelin restoration, and pay for it accordingly, not 25-30 euro for full 2 persons bill.

Tucked away, this is a lovely little place to get the 'Menu Touristico', of which we had the Bacalhau Á Brás (Cod), and Pork & Batata Frita a Salada...

Absolutely delicious! I don't even really eat fish but loved the fish - and the pork was exquisite for the price; really tender and fell off the bone 🤤👌

Definitely recommend 😁
