An amazing traditional Portuguese restaurant which offers a wide selection of dishes. Everything is divine in this restaurant and the staff are incredibly polite and helpful. The owner is also a true gentleman.

We absolutely love Onda Luz Restaurante — this is already our second visit during our stay in Praia da Luz! It’s a very charming, cozy spot with a welcoming atmosphere and excellent food at fair prices. The portions are generous, and the quality is consistently high.
Today, even though the restaurant was fully booked, Patricio kindly went out of his way to find us a table — we really appreciated the effort and hospitality. Rodrigo also took great care of us throughout the meal.
We had the seafood spaghetti, which came with a freshly made sauce and was absolutely delicious — full of flavor and very fresh. Everything we ordered was excellent. Highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!

What a great dining experience! The server was a bit nervous when I asked for HER recommendation of THE dish to take, but it did not disappoint!
Tamboril Cataplana (monkfish served in a stew with prawns and mussels) was awesome!
The place got really busy and there was some mix up with the drinks and entrees, but all was resolved in the end.
Had a lovely evening, 100% recommend

Wonderful dining experience with exceptional service. Our starters of the hot fish soup and the cold gazpacho were very good. The entrees, monkfish with shrimp sauce and the sea bass filet with passion fruit sauce were excellent. We are planning a return visit to this lovely restaurant!

I love this place, the boss greets each customer personally as they enter, the wait staff are attentive, courteous and they all speak English so never a problem.
You can see the three ladies working at the business end turning out the meal I enjoyed so much and when we thanked them all as we were leaving their faces lit up and their smiles let me know that not enough people actually say thank you for one of the best food places in Luz.
