The nicest chicken I've ever tasted. If you ever visit Monchique make sure you come here. Apparently they are famous for the chicken, and rightly so. Beautiful views from the terrace.

This is a small, family run, basic Portuguese restaurant. We had piri-piri chicken, mixed grill, pork with clams, tomato sales and all we're enjoyable. It's not a high end place but the food and service were great.
