Most outstanding thing was authentic interior. Even though place is not focusing on tourists but waitress spoke English very well. Food was amazing. Very nice place to try Portuguese food. Spent €80 for 5 people and we ordered starters, more than one drink each and main meals. I consider it very nice deal

Superb food and outstanding service!

Best Peri-Peri chicken in recent memory (and restaurants around here are famous for their much lauded frango-à-Guia) with service to match.

Got to the restaurant at closing time and instead of denying service, they gave us the food they were preparing for staff. Can’t beat this level of customer service!

Everything on the menu looked great, especially the two pound surf-and-turf Telha that we will have to try next time we are in town. We tried, but had already run out.

P.S. make sure to check out the 16th century church next door.

Had a lovely Piri Piri chicken lunch here on the 20th June. The house wine, which we had a jug between three of us, was excellent. All the food was delicious and the service very good also. Nice and friendly people. Price was excellent, we paid 40 euros for food, wine, beers. Will visit again.

Came here for a first stop before doing a walk around old town. Initially we went for food and was a little disappointed that we couldn't have any, but was quickly impressed by the atmosphere and service. €2.50 for a pint, can't beat that.

We had a lovely lunch here. Can recommend tomato salad, chicken piri piri and clams. Service was very friendly and helpful!
