Maybe the most beautiful beach in Portugal. We have been lucky enough to discover this lovely little, yet very empty beach. The nature is simply stunning as you can see on all the pictures. After a small hike down the red cliffs a lovely beach bar is waiting for you, to serve you drinks and great food throughout the day. Prices are not low, but the quality is very high and worth the money. You can rent sunbeds and umbrellas as well. Toiletts and showers are super well maintained!
The access is a bit of an adventure but easily done. Park outside the camping area and you will get at the entrance a day pass to access the beach. Was no problem with speaking English. After a little walk across the camp site, you come to the entrance of the beach which you cannot miss. It is not made to bring a stroller or so, but manageable, yet not completely easy with kids.

Empty, wide, and majestic beach. We were here end of Sept / Oct! Loved it, saw dolphins. Hiked in, brought water and snacks. Great place.

A few days offline...
Without a doubt, one of the best places I know to spend a few days. Quiet, quiet area...The beach, in general, usually has space that comes, without those crowded of people. It is worth it
Beautiful! My friends and I parked the camper at the entrance of the parking lot (5 minutes walk from the beach) and went to watch the sunset.There were, apart from us, maybe 5 people; it was a shame that it was very ventilated and we could not swim (the current was quite strong).

Excellent, Praia da Galé
Very nice and clean beach, with good infrastructure with bathrooms and great restaurant. Ample parking near the beach. You can rent a sunscreen with 2 loungers for €20, in our case it was indispensable because the sun was intense. For us it was the best beach to spend the day we visited in the area.
