The ultimate breath of fresh air with a stunning view!
The path heading west is perfect for a long trek; you can walk right across the sand or the wooden boardwalks with the Armação de Pêra skyline as a scenic backdrop. Despite the clouds, the vastness of this beach is impressive. Highly recommended for those who love peace, nature, and the raw power of the sea!

This beach is long and the sand is quite granular. In May, there were not a lot of Beach goers when we were there.
Parking is quite plentiful, there is a concession stand, and some cabanas for rent at €10 a day on the west side.
It is not as exotic as some of the beaches near Benagil for the lack of huge boulders and giant caves. However, this beach offers easier access and amenities.
Highly recommended.

Great clean yellow sand beach with sun lounger rental available.
On the eastern side there are rock pools which are great for kids to explore and there is a restaurant and cafe with takeaway right before the beach as well.

A few days offline...
Without a doubt, one of the best places I know to spend a few days. Quiet, quiet area...The beach, in general, usually has space that comes, without those crowded of people. It has a dealership area and a hat zone, with sufficient access, as well as rescuers swimmers and respective signalling. The …

It is worth it
Beautiful! My friends and I parked the camper at the entrance of the parking lot (5 minutes walk from the beach) and went to watch the sunset.There were, apart from us, maybe 5 people; it was a shame that it was very ventilated and we could not swim (the current was quite strong).

Excellent, Praia da Galé
Very nice and clean beach, with good infrastructure with bathrooms and great restaurant. Ample parking near the beach. You can rent a sunscreen with 2 loungers for €20, in our case it was indispensable because the sun was intense. For us it was the best beach to spend the day we visited in the area.
