A great little sandy area nestled between rock formations. The sun shines right down inside making it a great spot for sunbathing, if you wanted to.
Do NOT be fooled by all the lovely pictures of this place being "hidden" or completely empty, it's not. In fact, it's busy. Went on a Tuesday, midday to afternoon and loads of people were coming and going. A lot of the cave tour boats and canoes/kayaks come in through the cave/tunnel too.

Stunning hidden beach with a cave leading to the open ocean. To access the beach, you need to go down through some bushes and rock stairs, but once you get there, it is worth it. The view is amazing. It feels a little crowded as it is a small beach with the tides over a day, making it smaller, though still amazing. Many tourists are passing by boats from the other side over a day.

so beautiful & worth the difficult way down if you can do it! we went before 3pm and it was super nice :) easy to just park of the side of the street & the trail is behind the house on the left. Not easy to gets down though! wear good shoes for sure! i would not recommend flip flops. it wasn’t too busy when we were there which was super nice

A local waiter in a restaurant told me about this place, but I really stumbled upon it by accident when I went for a walk along the rocky/dry/Mars landscape coast. I arrived about 10.30am and it was deserted, no footprints in the fresh sand, and a beautiful sunny day. Possibly one of the prettiest beaches I have ever seen.

This is a simply stunning place with a beautiful walk along the coastline fill to bursting with Geographical wonders like needles and stacks, arches and ancient fossils and shells deposited millions of years ago. The flora is amazing and the sea thrift plants on the walk are some of the best i have seen ..please go if you are in Albufeira it is a welcome relief from that town
