Excellent Surf spot 35-45min (by car) North of Lisbon. The beach can be a bit challenging for non surfers but still worthwhile visit. Beautiful but rugged terrain surrounding the beach. Well equipped dressing rooms & showers are available. All forms of Surfing gears are available for hiring and surf lessons can be booked on the spot.
The Beach has a nice Bar & Restaurant with a well balanced menu and not too pricey.

Nice beach for relaxing and surfing. Be aware that getting in and out can be tricky and there are currents. So recommended for advanced beginners / intermediate surfers. Further there is a nice outlook, a bar/restaurant and surf rentals/schools around.
