Real gem of a beach, I went in September so it was very quiet, I was the only one on the beach for a few hours. As has been well covered by other reviews the access to the beach is a little tricky. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who struggles with balance or who can't descend steps that are over one foot high. The rope was helpful when ascending. I did it in flipflops but would have been much safer and easier in actual trainers. As for the road it's about 1.7km of dirt road, not really a problem if you keep a very low speed and keep an eye out for sharp rocks.

One of the most beautiful beach I ve ever been!
Not too crowded and really beautiful! Looks like a paradise! But be careful! I highly recommend to come with shoes and well equiped because u will have to hike a little bit to get there.

One of our favourite beaches in Portugal, absolutely stunning and relatively secluded. Some people there but not busy or crowded at all.
After an off-road drive for some time, we reached the cliffs with an amazing view on the sea and the beach. To get to the actual beach you’ll have to climb down the relatively steep cliffs - there are a couple of ropes but make sure to not take too much stuff and wear solid shoes. There were dogs and children on the beach too though so if they can make it ... 😇
Totally worth the climb though (up is much easier by the way)!!! Incredibly beautiful and small beach with high waves. Great to just chill or swim in the sea.

Beautiful secluded beach. We visited while walking on the Fisherman's Trail so it was a great break from hiking. Waves were perfect and some very picturesque cliffs. The walk down is tricky and won't be for everyone but worth it for those that do.

Unforgettable
Landscape that cannot be forgotten on the borders of the Old Continent. Beach frequented mainly by surfers and anyway by young people, very easy atmosphere. At sunset it becomes a spectacle for a few.I was there many years ago and will hardly return but the memory is still very clear.
