Restaurante Bossa Tavira

Had this restaurant recommended to us by the Brazilian waitress at Bossa rio wine bar....
Luckily, we had a reservation as this place is rammed full.

Our hostess was brilliant, She recommended the wife and I start off with the veal, then the seafood linguine(handmade, extremely thin and delicate, was gorgeous), we then progressed to the seared tuna which was fantastic, our hostess paired our courses with a bottle of an excellent white(enjoyed our meal that much i forgot to check the label).our desserts were the romeo&juliette cheesecake with guava syrup (for the wife) and i demolished a tiramisu and espresso.
I highly highly recommend visiting & making a reservation is essential to avoid disappointment.

We arrived last night for dinner without a reservation. The owner was the consummate hostess. She did not have room, but she rearranged to squeeze us in. We enjoyed a delicious dinner starting with yummy margaritas and wine, burrata and beet salad, sliced veal with tuna and capers, seared tuna, pumpkin risotto, and salted carmel ice cream.

While the dinner was great, we especially enjoyed watching the owner in action. She split our burrata salad and served us individually. When a baby at a neighboring table was fussing, she picked up the baby and carried her around on her hip, so the parents could enjoy a few minutes of relaxation. When another guest arrived with her dog, the owner immediately produced a stainless steel dish of water and placed it under the table. It was a pleasure watching her serve her guests with passion and grace!

Beautiful Restaurant, great service and delicious food. The lady was very friendly, professional and even helped us by carrying our baby while we were eating. Highly recommend. The rest of the staff was also really nice. We will definitely come back :)

Bossa Tavira is an absolute gem! The food is outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service is warm and attentive, making you feel genuinely welcomed from the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is intimate yet relaxed, with just the right vibe for a perfect date night. A wonderful spot that combines great dining with lovely hospitality. Highly recommend!

Where to start…. Its is important to pre book, it’s a busy restaurant, we went in the summer.

The staff welcomed us immediately, first impressions were good, the decor was modern and clean, service nice, professional and attentive.

The starters were wonderful, we had the arancini, for my main dish I had pork cheeks they were amazing, yummy and technically were perfectly done, my partner had the picanha which was also very well done.

The dessert was outrageous, and there was enough to share. The waiter took the bowl just as we were about to lick the bowl clean it was so good! we had Bossa Mousse. Chocolate was to die for, with a popcorn topping and salt to give that savory that you need , we finished our meal happy, very satisfying.
