My Portuguese hosts rave about this place and I now understand what all fuss is about.
The staff are friendly and attentive, the restraunt sits amid a group of other restaurants but it is the only one that was near capacity by 6:30 pm.
The dourada was grilled to perfection, lightly crisp on the outside with moist flesh on the inside, accompanied with thier homemade garlic oil dip it was a new taste sensation; there were no complaints from my group of diners.
I recommend that you book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Simply outstanding 👏. Never been to Fuseta before, checked out reviews, this family run restaurant was OUTSTANDING. 40 years ago, this is what simple, fresh fish looked like 👍 ...very happy to rediscover the simplicity of portuguese fish done exceptionally well 👏

The fish is gorgeous. We had the Corvina (croaker fish). The portions were big (the photo shows the amount served for two people), but more importantly, it was cooked to perfection and the taste was great. The service was also very friendly. The chef (we think he is also the owner) was very chatty and friendly, even while juggling food orders on the open coals. We will definitely be back

We ordered salmon and tuna steak. The portion is so huge I’m not able to finish mine 😅but the fish is delicious and so freshly prepared. The sauce (koriander garlic) accompanied the fish well.
We wanted to tip by adding it to the bill when paying by debit card but was told it’s not possible. So have some cash at hand for tipping (if you’d like).
