Had a very relaxed lunch here today. Many of their items were gluten free which was great for me. We had the chicken stew and pork & clams.

Service was very friendly, but a little slow. We weren’t in a rush so it wasn’t a problem. You’ll need to pay with cash also.

This family-run restaurant offers authentic examples of traditional Portuguese dishes. We were told that three generations are working together, which adds a lovely personal touch to the experience. The food varies daily and is served incredibly fresh. Since there’s no menu, each dish is explained with great care.

We had feijoada (pork with beans), cod with potatoes, and fried fish. All of them were amazing and served in generous portions. The prices are extremely affordable. And last but not least, the hospitality was absolutely top-notch. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a truly traditional experience!

If you want to have a genuine taste of Portuguese culture and gastronomy you have to come here.
Being a traditional restaurant means that there's no menu thus the dish of the day changes each day. Expect a couple of meat dishes and one fish dish.
Come with an open mind and you won't be disappointed ( try the orange with cinnamon for dessert)

We stopped here for lunch in Silves as it was pouring down and were looking for an authentic place to eat. The lady that served us was lovely, she mentioned two dishes of pork and clams and one of fried fish. Both were super. We had wine with it and a coffee and everything was less than €30.00. I would highly recommend. 😋

What a sweet, authentic, off the beaten path restaurant! Run by a few generations of the same family, delicious and well-portioned dishes are served with pride. The servings of both food and wine are very generous and I had (chicken and potatoes) a wonderfully relaxing meal here. The price was phenomenal, too!! Definitely add a tip for them - much deserved!
