Restaurante O Vieira

Julian served us for lunch. We had Salad, chicken & chips, dessert & coffee. He was chatty and provided excellent service. The chicken was some of the best weve had. Skin was so crispy. Fantastic value too.

We came here and had fantastic service and amazing food!
We started with the couvert, which was all delicious! They give a really good portion of very tasty bread, nice fresh cheese, and lots of tasty olives. The fish paste was a little too strong for our tastes.
We all went for the piri piri chicken, chips, and tomato salad. Amazing food, every bit. The tomatoes were huge! And so fresh and flavourful. Highly recommend getting them as an extra to the main meal.
The chips were good, but not the best in Guia. We asked for a spicy chicken and a not so spicy chicken, which they did it for us. All of it was really delicious.
The staff were really friendly and knowledgeable too. I asked a couple of questions about the food which they answered and gave a bit of extra info, which was great to see.
All this for a fair price.
Definitely recommend coming here, especially because you can get a pic with the chicken guy outside! How they are dressed in a fluffy chicken suit in the temperatures of Guia I do not know!

I don’t usually eat much meat but this was a delicious experience! The chicken is superb. Very tasty chicken made on piri piri sauce and some other spices.

We ordered 1,5 chicken for two people and it was enough as it is served with side dishes: salad and fries. I couldn’t stop eating the chicken, this is how good it was.

Service was quick and professional. Staff was friendly.

It is a great space to go with a group of friends or family as they have plenty of tables and it is very spacious.

If you are visiting the Algarve, you can't miss the opportunity to try the unique frango piripiri in Guia. It's something different to what you can try anywhere else! O Vieira in particular, is very traditional and with good price-quality. Attention was nice and the atmosphere was good... We even came across Cliff Richard, who is a fan of the place!

This is a lovely friendly restaurant, great staff and efficient service. We went as a group of 50 and they happily accommodated us with various dishes not on the menu.
