Restaurante Praia da Galé

Left salgados beach to come to this restaurant to eat sardines and they had no sardines. Went for the grilled bacalhau and a caprese salad and it was all great and decent portion!

We LOVED this place, so much so that we came back two nights in a row! Absolutely incredible views of the sunset over the beach, very friendly staff and delicious seafood and drinks! A special mention for the amazing service provided at the restaurant by Gonçalo and Otilia, they added so much to both nights. Highly recommend the clams with garlic and oil, the monk fish curry, the fried prawns with honey and the white wine sangria!

The bar attached to the restaurant is also very worth the visit. Allan was also very friendly and is a fantastic bartender and made us the best piña coladas. Laid back comfortable seats with feet in the sand making it feel even more holiday. We enjoyed post dinner cocktails here and then came back the next day after a swim for another.

We love this place.
The food is excellent on every level.
My wife always gey the fish with you can choose , and my sin and I get steaks which are cooked just the way we like them , ( pink and juicy in the middle ) Sorry no pics of the food .
Always cooked to perfection presented well and the staff are really good .
The views along the beach are magical and it has the best sun sets ( book a few days before so you get a good table)
Would definitely recommend
They will even call you a taxi home if you need one .

Really delicious food and a beautiful setting. We actually ended up here by mistake but it worked out perfectly for us! The wreckfish was delicious. Really fresh and cooked perfectly and the steaks the rest of the family had were good too. The sunset was absolutely stunning from here and the service was spot on.
