Would give 6 stars if possible, went here 3 times during our vacations. Owner is very friendly and provides good recommendations for food and wine. Delicious food, specifically the fish and chicken Kebap :)

Knowing how popular this restaurant is we called in to make a booking but we were offered a table that had become vacant and gladly accepted, the service is typically Portuguese straight to the point, no familiarities- sit down, order, and be prepared for one of most unforgettable meals you have tasted. Very acceptable house white, the usual couvert of tuna pate,olives,carrot salad and bread followed by an amazing plate of seabass fillets, vegetables and homemade chips and to cap it all off- fig,carob and almond tart WOW WOW!! Obviously booked again in the week.

This was our favourite restaurant during our stay in Alvor. Delicious, honest and authentic food served in a simple setting - big portions and priced very reasonably. We loved it so much we ate there five times! In particular the Portuguese steak and clams cataplana were incredibly flavoursome. It's a bit warm in the restaurant as it only has ceiling fans and no air conditioning - so it's worth coming a bit later in the day or bringing your own fan! Would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for authentic, home cooked Portuguese food.

Very nice typical Portuguese restaurant. It is not a touristic trap. Small tasca - name in Portugal for tapas. Very good service - stuff is attentive, friendly, polite & funny. Food was full of taste, we eat everything;) highly recommended who wants to eat proper Portuguese food with fair pricing & original taste. We will come again. We came with baby and stuff for extra attentive! Thank you 🙏 see you soon !

Great authentic Portuguese cuisine, my last visit was 8 yrs ago, so pleased it's still the same and the same owner. Delicious food very reasonably priced. I woyld recommend booking as it is very popular.
