Highly recommend. A hidden gem and a great find. A wonderful meal. The food was so delicious and reasonably priced. Our bill came to 25 euros for 2 meals. Exactly what we envisioned in a Portuguese restaurant. The cod fish meal and mixed grill were both equally great meals. Very authentic meal. Most people in restaurant were Portuguese so you know it will be great.Don’t miss this authentic restaurant.

We had a quick lunch sitting outside. Very attentive a quick service. We have opted for dish of the day swordfish with onion. Very tasty. Dow mains, glass of wine and sparking water €18 not bad for a good quality!

According to our children, aged 17 and 13, the food was heavenly. As parents we don't often agree with our children but this time they were bang on. The food was fresh, location was ideal, service was quick and friendly and we are so happy to have chosen this restaurant. We advised the owner to keep his cook of 35 years.

We had the chicken and chips, fish made the Algarve way, and my partner had the vegetarian option. Not a single empty plate remained! Also, very nice staff and reasonable prices (compared to London at least 🤣)! Highly recommended!

Wow what a superb find. The food was excellent as was the service, all at a very reasonable price.
For someone who has only just taken to eating grilled tuna it was delightful as was my wife’s Roast Chicken, served with potatoes and fresh salad. My wife is a Coeliac (Gluten Free) and this was a very safe restaurant to eat at. Thank you and well done. I will be back for more Grilled Tuna!

Staff are friendly and it’s a reasonably priced place for food and drinks. The service is good and really nice place to chill. The food was good and portions okay. We had lots of fish options to choose from. Super calamari and I must say the sword fish was salty but nice.

Disgraceful! Ordered wine, water and bacalhau asked for extra plate and told there there was an extra charge. Really!? Food was okay, young wait staff were lovely. Vergonha!!

Always come here for a meal when in Tavira. Great food, lovely staff and good service. Great value for money. We’ve never booked but may be worth doing so as it’s popular.
