Delicious traditional Portuguese food. Generous portions at a very good price. The restaurant is a very modest familiar business which can give you an insight of Portuguese dinning. Staff were welcoming and very smily.

An excellent restaurant! We had Saturday lunch here. The place was full of local people and the atmosphere was lively. The food was very tasty and fresh - we had fish and tomato salad with house wine. Prices were more than affordable. Good and friendly service. We give strong recommendations to this restaurant!!!

Whenever I'm in Loulé I don't miss a meal at Retiro dos Arcos. The kitchen is simple, healthy and tasty. Nice simple restaurant, nothing fancy. Seating inside and outside. Menu and day specials. We opted for the grilled dorado ( with lots of garlic!) which was delicious!
