Great friendly cafe for a visit after your beach walk at Manta Rota. Good coffee and a nice sun trap. Did not eat there as I'm vegetarian but what I could see was well presented Portuguese dishes. Dogs are welcome outside.

Unacceptable Wait Time & Order Mistakes
Be prepared for a long wait! Our food took over an hour and a half to arrive, and even then, most of the orders were wrong. My omelet didn't have any mushrooms, the steaks were cooked to different doneness levels than requested, and the sides were all mixed up. The house-special rice was way overcooked and mushy. Save yourself the trouble and dine elsewhere.

The food was fine, however the service just didn't make me feel that I wanted to go back.
Some of the other staff members were friendly but we didn't really get to interact with them.

is located directly at the entrance to the camper site and is also easy to reach from the beach. The guests are mixed, many tourists, but also locals. I only ate there once...that was quite good for the price, the rice dish was a bit small and of any taste. The clams tasted good, but had their price. The coffee was good.
