I have been living 5 years in Lagos and this restaurant is the one I have frequented the most. Must have been over 50 times now. Absolutely love it. The best Indian food in the area. Bar none. The nicest staff who always greet us with a handshake and a smile. The food is just bursting with flavours and the spice levels are always on point. Their Chicken Karahi is the best Indian dish EVER! I can’t recommend this place enough.

When you travel to Luz, Portugal, you really need to go to Saffron for amazing Authentic Indian Cuisine.
The service was outstanding, and all of the various items we tried (4 of us) were off the charts!

In one word: WOW. Probably one of the best, if not the actual best Indian restaurants I've ever been too. Service, quality, presentation are higher than you could ever hope. I have a property in Lagos but will now go out of my way to only come here for a curry. Well done to the team here and highly recommended.

It's also one of the first (if not THE first) in the Western Algarve. We've tried several items on their menu, and each one is delicious.
You know it's a really good restaurant when you end up running into all the local friends you know each time you visit.
We share a lot of local Lagos and Luz content at Roam Away From Home, and Saffron made it to the very top of our Luz favorites list immediately!

We have visited Saffron many times over the years we have been visiting Luz. It is one of the best authentic Indian restaurants I’ve been to. The chicken tikka masala, the traditional one, is the best I’ve ever tasted. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff are helpful and friendly

My daughter has been wanting a curry for ages but due to her having coeliac she hasn't been able to until we came across this restaurant
All curries are gluten free and they let her know what she couldn't eat
The food was delicious the staff very helpful and lovely

Good Indian cuisine, impeccable service. Restaurant a little away from the seafront promenade, actually located perpendicular to it and not visible so I struggled a little. Easier access from the top of the parking lot

Have visited this restaurant several times over the last few holidays to Luz. At least 6 months if not longer between visits, but always greeted warmly and welcomed back. Service is excellent as is the food. Vegans are very well catered for as they will tell you what dishes they can adapt to vegan …
