Tasty food inspired by Mexican cuisine, we tried the Mexican chicken bowl, which was flavorful. That said, the beans and corn seemed to come from a can, based on their texture and appearance. 🥗
What really stood out was the atmosphere: the graffiti on the wall and overall décor added a fun, authentic touch. For a moment, it felt like we were in a cozy bistro somewhere in Mexico, not Lagos. 🖍

Not sure about the bad reviews but this is exactly what you would expect from a Mexican restaurant in Portugal. Service was similar to the rest of the country and the tacos we got were great. I think the expectation needs to be set for these types of places prior!

We were simply looking for a restaurant that had lots of tapas that appealed to us. That's what we found here: Nachos, onion rings, calamari rings and prawns in garlic sauce. To be honest, we weren't expecting much, but we were surprised: everything was great quality. The nachos had a homemade cheese sauce on top and came with guacamole and pico de gallo, the prawns were very tasty and well seasoned and the onion rings were real, whole onion rings, not this pureed mass just breaded. Great value for money - we would definitely come back!

Travel to Lagos

Nothing special...
Arriving in the small square of the city of Lagos, you find this white church with two bell towers. Free admission. The interior is nothing special, very simple, almost bare. Worth seeing if you are in the area and it is open.

Lovely local parish
Relatively small local cathedral servicing the local residents of Lagos. Lovely and simple in decor. Very quiet and quaint.We visited at about 3 pm, (15:00) on a Monday and the church was empty. Happy they kept the door open for us. Thank you.

Lovely church
Went to Lagos for the day and had a visit to the church. Absolutely stunning inside the church, definitely worth a visit if you go to Lagos.
