This is the most genuine Portuguese locals bar in the area. It offers excellent value for money extremely friendly service and serves the best bifanas (a pork slice roll or sandwich) for miles around. This together with excellent Hamburgers and homemade soup made daily makes for a very popular venue for locals especially at lunchtimes and early evening. I cannot recommend this place more highly.

I have been frequenting this wonderful local bar/cafe for over 20 years. Their Bifana’s are legendary providing excellent quality and price. More recently the menu has grown offering many more good value quality dishes This place is highly popular with Portuguese locals and is very busy at lunchtime during the week. Well worth a visit to enjoy genuinely friendly service.
