Outstanding. My first visit ( and I hope many more) and a superb meal in relaxed surroundings. The service from the owners is attentive and natural. Their son is the chef. Game meat balls to start, the most amazing confit duck leg ( 3 hours in the oven) from a BIG duck,and a delightful homemade apple turnover dessert. Washed down with a litre carafe of house wine. We ate on the terrace which was very pleasant. Loved it. Great value. Have a drive and walk round nearby Querenca before you leave the area.

Just excellent. The scallops perfectly cooked, duck confit also amazing, bolinha de porco preto was a stand out dish. Desserts all homemade. Generous portions of wine and food for the price point. A mix of locals, ex-pats and tourists. The service is friendly and authentic and the chef made an effort to get to every table to say hello.

The owner speaks French very well.

The food was excellent. Salmon was cooked to perfection and the sea bass was delicious.
Service was friendly and also greeted by the chef.

found in the routard guide. we went there hoping for good food, but instead: a very limited menu, poor quality food, low-quality ingredients, and appalling service and paid a lot compared to the food eaten, too. definitely avoid!
