Great food, specially the steak was amazing. The atmosphere was very nice and the staff are really friendly. Best credits goes to the owner who guarantees a pleasant experience for the guest.
Overall, it is the restaurant that cannot be missed if you stay somewhere around Albufeira and Faro.

Food is very good. It's our first time to Portugal, but I get the impression that dishes served here are traditional, homestyle Portuguese dishes. I wouldn't be surprised if the family matriarch is the one doing all the cooking in the back.

Prices for food and drinks seem very fair and our waiter was exceptionally friendly and attentive. It's a bit of a hidden gem, so you'll most likely need Google navigation to find it.

We had dinner here yesterday as a group of four and were warmly welcomed from the start. The menu offers simple, traditional Portuguese dishes, all prepared with great care. We shared a few starters—grilled prawns, stuffed mushrooms, and puff pastry with goat cheese and walnuts—a perfect beginning to the meal. For the main course, I chose the restaurant’s classic grilled cod, which was absolutely delicious: perfectly cooked and seasoned. The other dishes at our table were equally tasty and beautifully done. The service was outstanding, far above expectations. We will definitely return to this little gem!

Myself and my wife had a very busy first day in the area starting out at 2am so wanted an early meal so we could have an early night.

We chose Splendid for its high review rates and locality to us and we were certainly not disappointed. We arrived at 4.30pm asking if they were serving food yet and Miguel was more than welcoming, giving us the choice of the restaurant (very early for food so the place was empty) and we sat outside on the veranda.

We chose to share a garlic and cheese mushrooms which melted in the mouth and followed up with a Portuguese steak which was probably the best tasting steak I've ever had, and my wife had the salmon which was equally delicious.

The staff were attentive and friendly at all times and made us feel very special and we stayed to have a beer at the bar which was equally as pleasant an experience. We enjoyed it so much we booked in again for next Friday to experience the Splendid special steak! If you want a lovely meal with really friendly staff and a great environment then do yourselves a favour and drop in.... You won't regret it 👍

We dined here twice in the same week. When you find a gem like Splendido you go back! The staff were welcoming and friendly. We tried the sea bass, Portuguese steak, lasagna and lamb chops and 2 shrimp appetizers. Red wine from Duro valley called Popa was perfect accompaniment for our meals. The food was cooked perfectly and had delicious flavors. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. Hope to see you next year.
