Went for a lunch time sea food catalpana and was blown away, a stunning feast of beauty filled with all sorts of friendly crustacean possibly could have fed 3-4, but was a fantastic meal for two! Family running this place know their stuff, don’t let you over order and provide a very good wine, well worth the visit

Had an amazing lunch here today. Clams and Seafood cataplana were exceptional. Fresh seafood, simply cooked and tasting delicious. What more could you want? Friendly staff and fantastic value for money. Thank you!

Had the seafood cataplana on the recommendation of the proprietor - absolutely delicious and had a ton of seafood including a whole crab. Very personable service (in English). Would strongly recommend if you’re looking to try cataplana!

We were looking for somewhere nice to eat and found this little restaurant near the front of Olhao. The special of the day was monkfish so we all agreed to try it. The food was excellent and the chef and waiter were very accommodating with the 3 children we had with us. If we were to visit Olhao again for fish this would be the first place we would eat

Tiny traditional restaurant owned by a lovely Portuguese couple and frequented by locals. Not sure whether the owners speak English, I tried my best in Portuguese, but the salmon with veggies was one of the best salmons I've ever had. They showed me the fresh produce in a restaurant fridge and I could choose what I wanted to have from there, which they then cooked. They showed me because they said some of the things in the menu were no longer available (if they've served all fish of a certain type, they'll tell you what remains available). The salmon, cold water and the serviço (bread, butter, olives and fried fish) was only €15 but I had to leave a tip. If I can, I would be delighted to eat there again. Very recommendable.
