The Momo Station

Momo Station is a hidden gem! The momos are delicious, well-seasoned, and served hot. You can really taste the quality of ingredients. Service was quick and staff was polite and welcoming. A must-visit spot if you enjoy Asian street food.

Tried all the dumplings and they were all absolutely delicious (there’s one plate that combines all of them) the place is a must if you enjoy flavorful wholesome foods! We had the egg fried rice and the chicken curry, needless to say it was super good!

So yummy!!! These momos were AMAZING! Go check them out. Also this chow mein was the best I ever had. And the sweet and sour tofu was also really good. We asked for Nepali level spicy and it was just perfect to balanced. The staff is really sweet and hard working. And we had a good chai as well. It’s a small and quiet place with a nice outdoors seating. I highly recommend

During our road trip, we decided to stay two nights in Portimão. On the way to the hotel, we accidentally clicked on this restaurant — and we couldn’t be more grateful 🙏🏻
After reading the reviews saying people came back again, we totally understand why! Today was our second visit, and we’re still amazed.
Highly recommended! Parking is super easy, and the food… well, you just have to taste it yourself 🤩
And I’d also like to add that their young waitress is absolutely amazing — very kind and fluent in English :)

Update October 2025 - Our third visit. This is our last day in Portimao, so what better way to end our trip than with our final meal being at Momo Station. The best send off ever. What an amazing restaurant owned and operated by an amazing young couple. Wishing them all the best in their endeavors. Keep up the great food and great service.

Update October 2025 - This is our second visit in one week; that is how great the food is. This time we had the pork chow mein noodles, the chicken chow mein noodles and the steamed momos. Once again everything was delicious. The noodles are simply the best! I added pics of the dishes we had on thus visit. Still a five star experience.

October 2025 - Loved the food, loved the atmosphere. There is an indoor seating area as well as a beautiful outside patio area. We really enjoyed this restaurant. We had the mixed dumpling platter and the egg fried rice. The food was delicious. Best dumplings I have ever had. Will definitely return.
