Wow what a gem, sat out in the street, really busy place and you can see why with the really great priced tasty dishes. Lovely tomato salad, great sangria, sea bass, lamb chops and crème caramel, honestly after spending almost twice as much at other restaurants this place is likely our favourite ❤️

If you want an authentic experience - this is is your restaurant. The food was really good - I would recommend you to try the Cataplana. It was really tasty and you get a lot of different sea foods to try.

Easily hands down the best restaurant in Tavira! The manager was welcoming and friendly, taking the time to talk through the menu and recommend dishes. Everything was fresh, delicious, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The Algarvian orange cake roll with carob, sweet pumpkin, and almond was a stand out dish and one of the most unique desserts I've had to date. The interior was traditional, warm, cosy, and intimate. I ended up having dinner there twice and would have happily went for lunch too on my last day had I'd had time.

Recommended by both our local taxi driver and our hotel. Eaten there twice this week. Nice atmosphere although a little crowded. Very good local food in ample portions. A lower price range with a very reasonably priced wine list. Always crowded which has to be a good sign!

Cozy restaurant with super friendly service, one by one lovely people! Also the dishes were all delicious. We had the gazpacho and fish soup as an appetizer, then the lamb chops and steak in a Portuguese way. Very good!

Very boring bland Portuguese food. No attempt at refinement. Fish was tasteless with soggy skin and served with boiled potatoes and an uninspiring salad. Thoroughly disappointing and they even charged for extra butter! There are much better places to eat in Tavira. Definitely the worst meal of our…

Visited today for lunch (17 Nov 2025), and ordered a plain chicken, chips and salad. Freshly cooked succulent chicken, with lovely chips and fresh salad. Excellent food and excellent value.

Friendly service but somewhat focused on sales. I took the pork and clams. Tasty but unfortunately no greens at all....
