Their friendly staff - Vasco, André, Alexandrina, Zé (maître du gril) and others - will greet you with a smile and serve you the tastiest fish, farmed or from the sea, as well as all the rest. 🙂👍

Just had a great meal at this place. Friendly folks and the freshest fish you can get. We've tried the clams and squid as starters. For mains we had a huge slice of corvina and a turbot, all super fresh and perfectly grilled.
And one more thing, brace yourself for the deserts.

This is an amazing place next to the fish market. Make sure you go before 1:30 because some of the popular fish will have sold out. Very basic cooking of fish on an open air grill. Simple high quality food results in an amazing meal at an unbelievable price.

We ended up in Fuseta and at A Lota a bit by accident, and ended up having a great grilled fish lunch there. It can get a bit overwhelming on a hot summer day as most seating is outside (close to 2 huge coal fire grills), but it's also atmospherically located near the water/fishing boats. Fish, including turbot and dorada, is amazingly fresh and superbly prepared - real expert grilling. Probably the best fish meal we had in a 3 week trip. And at less than 25 Euro per person including starters, bread and drinks it's excellent value. Will go again.
