Adega is on the Vila Vita Parc resort and is 100% Portuguese. All of the food and wine is from the region. We were lucky enough to go on a night where they had Iberico pork special. It was absolutely phenomenal and what has pushed this restaurant to a five star for me. The service was also impeccable. All in all, a great experience!

Lovely meal! Nice to enjoy some Portuguese food with local wine. The port sauce on the chicken was lovely and the pork cheeks were very well prepared. The port ice cream was fun. A highlight was Carlos who was helping support the team by taking care of all the details. We really enjoyed talking with him and his guidance on the food! The complementary ginja in a chocolate cup is a nice final touch.

This is only restaurant in the ressort that propose traditional Portugese food. This is really great. Cataplana of sea food, goat fresh fishes, meat et-c. All dished are tasty and well served. Lot of choices in the menu, and also in the wine menu. The sommelier was really great and great recommandation. We went 2 times as it was really succulent. There is also live music sometimes. We can enjoy really great dinner. Staff is attentive and very nice.
But better to book before your trip or when you arrive in the 'hot' Summer because it's always full.

This restaurant accommodated our large group and were incredibly attentive to a wide array of serious food allergies and restrictions, setting our minds at ease. They were professional and kind and were sweet with our group’s small children as well. Can’t say enough good things about the staff here- we feel very fortunate that they were taking care of our group and providing an excellent experience for all. The food and drinks were delicious and the best meal we’ve had in Portugal thus far. Highly recommend.

We were pleasantly surprised how good this place actually was, especially having our expectations tempered after having a miss at two of the resorts other restaurants the nights before. However, as i have mentioned in a separate review of Vila's Japanese place MIzu, Adega sticks to what they know and they do it very well. It's a casual, laid back environment with well executed food, a very nice wine list with great local selections, and a very knowledgable sommelier and support staff. Just overall a very pleasant dining experience without having to leave the resort. Portions were considerable and well seasoned. Seating outside was very comfortable and food came at measured pace. I would have eaten here another couple times had we known how good it was. Vila Vita is a great resort, and they would be well advised to add another local cuisine option for on-site rather than Mizu and Giordano's which just weren't what they were advertised to be. Adega is a no frills, comfort food place with excellent wine and service. Nice job Adega!

We stumbled across this lovely restaurant whilst having a wander through the cobbled streets of Porches. It really is a gem of a place with the vaulted main hall and secluded terrace with views over the countryside. The service was excellent as was the food. I would highly recommend this place.

It is very rare that my wife leaves a restaurant so annoyed.
I have to say, I am surprised by the positive reviews for this restaurant. My wife and I visited on a November evening and as we entered the restaurant, there was no greeting - we saw the waiter at the other side of the large room. He tu…

Everything was perfect, good and beautiful discovery for our end of stay, personal with little care and friendly.
The cuisine was refined and tasty. Real Portuguese cuisine with a sweet Mood on a fado rating.
We loved all the dishes we ate.
Thank you for this wonderful time.

This is really why you want to discover a local restaurant. Very nice authentic business-an old barn. We sat outside on the terrace, very cozy! The starters Mackerel and carpaccio of octopus are heralded. Don't forget to order fresh bread to taste the delicious dressing.

This restaurant is in a quaint location and the service was very good. My husband and I didn’t particularly enjoy the food, however. We were looking for authentic local food and we found it here but I felt that all of the dishes were extremely heavy (oil, sauces) and not suited to my taste. Perhaps…
