We went for a casual lunch with friends today and we were absolutely Amazed by the top standard of food and the very friendly atmosphere of this restaurant. We had been there before and found it pretty good, but the new chef (since about 6 months, if I understood correctly) definitely brought them to a higher orbit! Carpaccio di polvo, focaccio, spaghetti vongole, lasagna, pizza, lime pie - all of extraordinary quality and marvelous taste, served with passion by the very friendly staff. A 'must-go-to' in Portimão and on top of my list!

This is a lovely place just slightly off the beaten track in a residential area. Very nice inside with a nice casual vibe, maybe slightly upscale decor. Probably the best pizza crust we have ever had. Large variety of both pizza and pasta. There are a few vegetarian options. We went for lunch and a violinist was just setting up. Bus 36 stops just out front.

First time trying Bel Mondo and I was very pleased with my choice. We went as a big group and everyone was served at the same time. Had pasta and it was very tasty, great sangria also. As it was a birthday party, we had our own cake so disn't try the dessert. The prices were good - 14,50€ for the pasta. Friendly service and nice atmosphere. Will come back for sure.

I came here for my dinner with my wife and a friend while we were visiting for a trackday event at autodromo Algarve. It has been quite difficult to find good food in Portugal, this restaurant was absolutely lovely, the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, my favourite dish was the risotto, but everything was of extremely high standard, when I come back to the track I will be coming back here with my friends. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience at Bel Mondo! 5* The staff are wonderful, friendly, attentive and creative a fabulous atmosphere. The food was fantastic!l and absolutely delicious! We were nicely surprised !
- location is out of Portimao city center but it was worth to have 20 min walk to get there . Excellent food , kind and gentle stuff .
Clean , fresh&green restaurant design , local friendly guests around .
Fair prices .
100% recommended .

We stumbled across this place and what a find. Really bright clean interior, welcomed warmly by the staff. I had a pizza my wife had risotto, both were excellent. We then shared a pavlova which was one of the best we had ever had.

Fantastic good food. Friendly and good service top.
Also gluten-free pasta possible. We have been twice this week and come back a third time before we go home that says enough.
