Bela Rosa Restaurant

I wasn’t sure what to expect from Bela Rosa, as we didn’t do any research before arriving but it turned out to be a real hidden gem. I ordered the steak, thinking it would be decent, but it was absolutely gorgeous – cooked perfectly and full of flavour. We also tried the tagliatelle with prawns, which was just as delicious. Deserts were amazing too, homemade and of a good size. The quality of the food really punches well above what you’d expect from a casual café-style restaurant. A fantastic find!

Lovely restaurant in Carvoeiro, amazing value for money as the food quality is exceptional! 🤩😍 Very friendly service, we tried their sangrías and I had the chicken breast with prawn and champagne sauce and a banoffee pie to end. 🤩 I would certainly recommend trying this place when in Carvoeiro.

I always make sure to eat here when I’m on my holiday in Carvoeiro. It’s a favourite restaurant of ours with great food options and really friendly staff and management. My husband loves the mixed grill and I can never resist the melt in the mouth steak and the only place that serves my favourite banoffee pie. Do not hesitate to eat here, it’s in my top 3.

We were talking with a lovely lady that works at the Rocha brava village resort and she made a recommendation of this restaurant. We decided to book a table and well we were certainly not disappointed! I highly recommend booking in advance, you can do so online, it is quite straight forward and means you wont be disappointed with no tables available. We were a party of 8, the staff had our table ready when we arrived slightly early, they were friendly and they sorted those of us that knew what we wanted with drinks straight away. When we ordered food they explained that a couple of the dishes take longer to cook but they would serve them all at the same time. My mother-in-law had the chicken kebab and before they brought the meals they even had a little surprise which was so funny (I'll save that for those of you who order it to experience). The food was absolutely delicious, we all had something different and not one of us was disappointed. Most of the group also had dessert and the cheesecake was amazing! Overall the atmosphere and the food is well worth a visit here. If there was one thing I would change, I would have visited on a cooler night, as we visited on a very warm 28°c evening, it was much too hot in the restaurant and so most of the party had to go out and get some fresh air at some point during the meal.

Wonderful restaurant! I had the Tagliatelle with prawns, and my husband had the Portuguese steak, and both dishes were phenomenal. We also tried the chocolate mousse and the chocolate cake, and both were divine! Prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a must-visit in Carvoeiro!
