Touriga Wine & Dine

Five starts isn't enough as everything was exceptional. The food, wine, service and atmosphere are all top tier and we had an amazing time. They don't have a wine list and you're free to look at their amazing selection, but all you need to do is tell them your preferences and they will match you with a perfect wine accordingly. If you're in the area, this place is a must!

What an awesome meal! Our local friends brought us here and we had the best time. The servers are so nice, the ambiance is casual and classy and most of all the food and wine list is incredible! We had the mushroom croquets, asparagus tempura, sauté clams, prawns in evoo & garlic and the amazing and super creative cod in shoestring potatoes, egg & onion. Oh, the the fries are to die for. Seriously, everything was so tasty. Go!

This was our favourite dinner spot in Carvoeiro. Marco was a charming host and did an amazing job of connecting with each guest. We weren’t sure about doing wine this evening but they offered exceptional pairing suggestions, all Portuguese wines from different regions in Portugal. What I found particularly impressive was how they inquired on personal preferences and consulted Marco to recommend a red or white that fitted that profile and he would pull a vintage off the top of his head - and never missed the mark. So often a wine pairing is imposed on a dish without minding the diner’s preferences - for just reasons, which makes what Marco does both a science and an art.

The food was exceptional.
We had
- Smoked ham Croquette
- Camarao Frito (prawn)
- Barriga de atum (grilled tuna belly)
- Bochechas de Porco preto (black pork cheeks)
- chocolate mousse

Each dish was a hit, and the mousse with fresh strawberries and orange sauce was the perfect finish.

Delightful food, friendly staff. Overall great experience ! Really cool concept for wine lovers where you get to pick your wine directly from the shelves or from any carefully curated suggestion from staff. Restaurant more on the quiet side, lights quite bright but other than that wonderful experience. Would really recommend for wine lovers and foodies. The tapas are all amazing !

This was our first meal in Portugal and we loved everything about it! The tables were full when we arrived so we were warmly welcomed at the bar and taken good care of by the owner and staff. It was a great spot to watch the preparations and chat to the owner who recommended dishes for us. All were exceptional! There was a lovely relaxed vibe with candles and diners who were truly enjoying the food and wine. We are very grateful to owner was particularly kind and generous to us.
