I am Indian. Went here with my friends who have a lower spice tolerance but I am someone who loves extremely hot food. One of my friend also has a gluten allergy and most dishes served here were perfect for him too (You just need to let the attending server know about it). Everyone’s preferences were accommodated perfectly! The staff was very welcoming and attentive. And of course- the food was so delicious, full of flavor! 110% recommended! :)

Absolutely one of the BEST food we have had during our trip. We were so well received and the appetizers were amazing that we ate so fast I didn’t have time to take a photo. Absolutely worth going. We ordered different curries and this one is the butter chicken.

We went to Gurkha restaurant after looking at the reviews and the place didn’t disappoint! We ordered the Lamb Momo and the Chicken Cham Cham with the Naan. From the lack of the photo of the Chicken Cham Cham, you can assume how yummy it was! We devoured it so quickly. Highly recommend it.
The spice level can be customised based on your spice tolerance, which was a godsend as we were looking to eat some spicy food.
We will definitely revisit the restaurant before leaving Portugal.

One of my favourite places in Carvoeiro for the hearty comfort food. The dishes are amazingly flavoured, great combinations of ingredients, Nepalese cuisine is truly wonderful. I also have to mention the kind and welcoming staff.

We visited the restaurant in August 2026.
The food is excellent.
Different to other “Indian” restaurants as they use different spices. I had the Sherpa lamb and my wife had the Tandoori Butter Chicken. They were both full of flavour and just the right amount of spice.

We ate as a family of 9 including a 2 year old and had a fantastic experience.
