Do not visit.
We had our eyes taken out. Prices are extortionate. Food took a long 50 minutes to come out, which we understand, but this does not warrant the price.
What was even more shocking was the fact that the staff did not even offer my change back despite me standing waiting. The 2 of them spoke in Portuguese and just stared at me, making me very uncomfortable. So I was basically robbed twice over. Once for the food and then the 9 euros, they decided to tip themselves.
The food was nice but not worth the wait or the price. Brits stay clear unless you want to be taken for a mug like I was.

Food is absolutely incredible! Well worth the wait. One staff member in particular is extremely friendly helpful and knowledgeable. She described the menu explained the history of the local dishes, they have the most amazing locally sourced orange juice, and their almond deserts should be famous

Never go to this restaurant I got food poisoning there from the risotto with shrimp that also costs 23 euros which is the highest I ever paid in 5 years living in the Algarve. I was sick for 3 days and had to vomit all the time because of it
