What a fantastic find, apart from the amazing value (€37 for the 2 of us all in) The food & presentation was top notch, great service & all served by lovely smiling staff :). We started with Olives & Chicken Pate with Bread & Butter, next was Chicken Soup, followed by the Grilled Beefsteak with Chips, Boiled Rice, Salad & topped with a Fried Egg, afters were Rice Pudding & Crème Caramel, with a shot of Baileys, a shot of Tia Maria, Coffees, a half carafe of wine & a large Superbock. What’s not to love? :-)

A neighbourhood restaurant where you don't even have menus - the waiter tells you what they have! Food was good, waiter spoke English, wine was brought in a jug. We had a great dinner and the price was ridicilously good!

Great restaurant with simple but tasteful food. We ate a three course meal including wine, bread and coffee for €13 each. It is wise to make reservations to prevent disappointment. Service is helpful and quick as also the kitchen. We have been arriving at 19:00 and left after coffee at 20:15. Choice is limited but good. For starters there is bread and small toast with olives, butter and a spread. You can choose to take the soup of the day or not. As main course we had a choose between turkey, beef, pork, battered fish or a mixed kebab. And got dessert fresh fruit, rice pudding or jelly pudding. For wine it is standard a liter per 2 persons. I still don't get earlier review about frozen fries because the fries we had were excellent. Recommended restaurant.

GREAT FIND! Excellent value. Expect limited choice. A good no-frills food experience with a few little included bonuses. We loved it! Avoid 12-2 as the locals/workmen fill the place at this time but great for evening meals especially if staying on Quinta do Paraíso. Closed Sundays.

Have passed the restaurant several times, but never visited until recently, and glad we did. They offer ‘dish of the day’, with a couple of options, meal included couvert, main course, dessert, drink and coffee, €13.50pp at lunchtime . We had octopus rice, very tasty, good portion sizes.

You eat normal. The place is a bit scrawny. I went to the family for dinner. The waiter came, told us the five things that were there, without specifying price or anything. He served us, we ate. We asked for the bill and it says, by eye, 74€, without explaining anything.

A secret that is becoming more well known. Good food. Friendly staff. Simple surroundings and only a small choice in meals- but that’s its charm. The drinks just keep coming and all for around 17 euros
