Irreverente Food and Wine

By far the best dining experience we’ve had in Lagos so far. Every dish was 10/10 for both taste & presentation, we were truly blown away and kept declaring every dish as ‘our favourite’. The atmosphere was very cosy & relaxed, with very attentive hosts. We especially loved that we could bring our cockapoo along with us as it’s quite hard to find such a nice restaurant that allows dogs inside. We found the pricing for such high quality dishes very good value for money & will 100% be returning!

Delicious, beautifully crafted tapas with a really exciting Asian twist, every dish felt thoughtful and full of flavour. The service was absolutely incredible: warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the food.

The only small downside was that the food took a little longer to arrive than expected, though it was clear the team was working hard and slightly understaffed.

With the right team behind it, this restaurant has the potential to be truly amazing. Wishing you the very best of luck, we’ll be excited to see how it grows!

Fine dining hidden gem, we were quite frankly blown away by the food, service and atmosphere when we spent NYE 2025 there. The food was high-end, amazingly well balanced flavours, textures and impressive presentation 👌🏼 hats off to the lovely team behind this awesome concept. Highly recommend visiting, you will not be disappointed, I recommend the beef tartare pani puri, gyoza, croquettes, pork terriakyi tacos, well actually everything we tasted was superb! You cannot go wrong. What a find!

Irreverente Food & Wine was hands down one of the best meals we had in Lagos. From the moment we walked in, the place felt cool and confident but still very welcoming, not stuffy or over the top.

The food was incredible. Creative without being weird, beautifully done but still comforting. You can tell a lot of thought goes into every dish and nothing feels random. It’s that perfect balance of Portuguese flavors with a modern twist. Every plate that came out made us excited for the next one.

The wine selection is also fantastic. Really well chosen, and the staff actually knows what they’re talking about. The recommendations were spot on and made the whole meal even better.

Service was warm and attentive without hovering. Everyone seemed genuinely proud of the restaurant and wanted you to have a great experience, which really shows.

This is the kind of place you keep thinking about after you leave. Not just a good dinner, but a memorable one. If you’re in Lagos and love great food and wine, don’t skip this place.

Went for a quick bite and wine glass. Service was amazing, very knowledgeable and friendly. Wine was great and all dishes tried worth it. Special mention to the beef tartar pani puri! Will visit again when in Lagos.
