A most excellent meal, hosted by the most wonderful family. The food was exquisite and we were juggling our schedule at the table to get back here to eat again. Top recommended include the Tomato soup, the squid appetizer and the brie chicken. Nothing was bad. Everything was wonderful. Wish we lived closer to eat more often.

We, a special lady and I, went there for dinner, and from the very first moment we felt that this was a special place. It was perfect for us. The atmosphere, the history behind the hand-painted decorations, the house wine, the food and dessert, and the recommendations – everything was just perfect. We have already decided to come back. Muito obrigado Bernardo – many thanks also to the lady who, in my opinion, gave us one of the best tables, right next to one of the beautiful decorations I mentioned!

We have eaten in this restaurant a number of times during the week and on each occasion have had the most superb meal. Bernardo is an absolute delight and is a real expert in the menus at the restaurant, including the wines so has been a great assistance to us.
The menu is extensive with a variety of fish meat and seafood, main courses and a variety of desserts and starters. We would highly recommend this restaurant has somewhere that has delicious food and you are really taken care of extremely well.

I highly recommend this place. Positivity from the experience to the support of a family business.
Firstly, I would like to give special mention to Bernardo. He is the sweetest soul I have encountered on my journey with my family. He was very attentive and personal. The kind of soul that exudes humility, joy and tender heartedness. I wish him all the best in the world.
I appreciated his patience with speaking a bit of Portuguese with me, knowing it is a part of my heritage, and I am relearning the language.
Secondly, the food was amazing. From the mushroom pasta, the chicken pasta, the cod fish, and the red wine. The dessert was equally as delicious: apple crumble, chocolate fondue, and mixed berry cheesecake.

Loved this restaurant and the people. Food was amazing and service was even better!! We liked it so much we ate their twice. The owner truly cares about her patrons and the food and experience. We had a bad experience with one of the other restaurants that was close by and ended up finding this gem. Best thing that happened to us. She literally made us a spot, so we could eat even though they were so busy.
