OceanEmotion Azores Whale Watching

Me and ny uncle did both the whale watching and snorkeling tour and it was one of the best experiences across the whole Island, the amount of care they has for us and the animals was amazing. How they tried to teach us about the animals we saw in a fun manner by playing what did we spot/see was really nice. Overall id highly recommend anyone that visits terceira to do a whale watching or snorkeling tour with OceanEmotion! Thanks for the amazing time!

The staff at OceanEmotion were all so friendly. Our guide was very knowledgeable and she made sure everyone was okay throughout the whole trip. She made sure to come around to all the passengers & give tidbits of information about the animals we saw and also the history of the islands & other fun facts

We had a wonderful trip and beautiful weather on our boat bar hopping trip. The tour guides were very accommodating as they took us on a trip completely around the island with stops in Sao Mateus, Praia da Vitoria and Angra do Heroismo. This trip was a special request and OceanEmotion made it a perfect day!

So you know your whale watching experience is a good one...when your Captain starts smiling like a 10 year old ...and then immediately begins to take selfies of him and his siting! A pod of 5 to 7 migrating Orcas, (with a calf) in tow! Hard to put in to words seeing these beautiful creatures so close and intimately. Our spotter on land was on fire that morning with 3 sitings, and we were the first boat on the scene! First, these Orca's, then twice with wonderful pods of Common and Bottlenose Dolfins. Looking inland while witnessing them frolic with such calm waters, and seeing Angra in the backdrop is something I will cherish forever! We didn't see a whale... But we witnessed something beautiful, thanks to our talented crew and spotter. Oh, make sure to get there early and finish your paperwork, and try to be the first boat out on the morning water..it's worth it!

Thank you, Raquel, for taking us on the Ilhéus das Cabras Boat Tour, when, in spite of choppy waters and windy conditions, the large group of 20+ people managed to take adventurous photos and learn about the islands. We will be back!
