A wonderful place to swim and sunbathe provided there are no caravelas (Portuguese man o' war) and aguas vivas (black jellyfish), the water is clean and warm and close to restaurants, totally recommended!

Great beach right in the center of town . Walking distance from most hotels in the area .
Sand was a little hot and kinda dirty , not like the sand in So Cal. The water was very refreshing but you have to watch out for the jellyfish !!!!!! Found my little girl playing with one on the beach thank God she didn't get stung .
But a must visit spot beautiful area .

A really lovely beach close to all hotels. The sand is dark, so it can be very hot.
The sand is also super fine, so no matter how well you wash yourself, you will find sand everywhere in your clothes, hotel room etc.
The beach is clean, there are lifeguards present and the breakwaters keep the waves safe. Suitable for all ages, just remember to follow the flags.
