The location of this place is amazing. Sea views and a nice little historic church/shrine nearby. Lovely terrace, other outdoor tables or you can eat indoors. We went quite by accident, as the bar next door didn’t take cards, so they directed us here. Had a few drinks then ordered food from the snacks menu. Great value. Went back for dinner a couple of nights later. Lasagna was huge and tasty and the fillet steak, cooked Portuguese style, was lovely. The food is very simple, but very good. Once again this was great value. Staff are very friendly and the service was quick and efficient. Some bad reviews, but we liked it. Also some friendly cats roaming outside.

It's a great location where we enjoyed fresh sardines, salad and fries at a very good price. Freshly squeezed orange juice was only about 3 euros. Very professional service, just the wait you'd expect for cooking to order. The fries were less good, but we didn't need them. Impressive list of home made desserts, too full to try any.

Popped in here after a visit to the nearby chapel. 7 of us including 3 hungry grandsons under 6. Most of the tables were taken but we had one set up. In the week we spent here this was the only restaurant I managed to find Octopus. In Madeira where we usually go I can eat this every night…and I do.…

It looks like a normal restaurant from the outside but that's just a sham. Very tasty and very fresh food. Very friendly service.

Can’t fault this restaurant. Great atmosphere, chilled and relaxed eating experience.
We had olives, breads, sardine paste. Then 2 x garlic prawns, 1 x spaghetti bolognaise, 3 alcoholic drinks, 2 desserts and came to €93. The food was outstanding! Really friendly staff and great location.
