Best food in Portimao. The monkfish and the cataplana were delicious. Very friendly service and nice view from the restaurant.

Tasting menu with wine pairing was wonderful! I asked for a non alcoholic option and got the most delicious mocktails, complementing the dishes perfectly

Well let me tell you a little story.... My wife chose a restaurant but unfortunately it was shut so immediately it was on to Google to find an alternative at breakneck speed as it was her birthday. After a few minutes of foodie site searching on the internet I stumbled on this place which bizarrely enough happened to be only a few meters away from where we were sat having a drink.

On entering the All Glass sea front restaurant we felt an almost immediate sense of well-being we were greeted by the fantastic host maitre de called Ricardo. The atmosphere was light and cordial.

As it was the wife's choice, we opted for the five course tasting menu complete with accompanying wines for each course. You know there's something special when you sit down to at least five types of homemade bread ( the cacao was a surprise yummy addition) with the garlic butter and sea salt butter which were divine and this is coming from somebody who doesn't like butter.

My wife is a food snob but fortunately tonight she had to hang up her Jack Boots because yet again I had managed to pull off a Blinder finding this gem. Every single course was divine and the open kitchen allowed us to see the chefs in full effect. My wife was delighted that she got to meet the kitchen team and head chef. Thank you to Ricardo and the team.

This has to be one of the best restaurants in the Algarve that we have had the pleasure of eating at and it still baffles me to this moment as to why they do not yet have a Michelin star. The level of detail extends to the whole front of house team who show customers to the exit after their meal and thank them for their custom. A real sign of quality and care. I could drivel on for another thousand words but I'm going to let the pictures do the talking.

To all that work there keep up the fantastic work. We will most definitely be back with our adult children and friends. We had a memorable evening and I would highly recommend this restaurant to one and all😍😍😍

I really enjoyed my experience here tonight. I did the chef’s pre-fix menu with the wine pairing and I thought it was such a great highlight of Portuguese ingredients and wines. I loved it! I thought it was an increíble value, but I am a foodie from the US, so maybe it is a normal price in Portugal. I definitely recommend! I hope to bring more friends for dinner tomorrow! Sunday walk-in at 8:30. We were welcomed in right away and had their spicy margarita and Paloma with bread at the table very quickly. Both drinks were yummy!
We ordered three starters: the deconstructed sweet and tender lobster Caesar, grilled large shrimp, and the wagu tartar with tiny egg yolks (my favourite). The shrimp were not as good as the other two, seemed to want more punch or spice and a bit messy to eat if you want all the shrimp.
Then we shared the tomahawk steak cooked medium rare. Perfection! We ordered a modest Douro wine by the bottle, which they did not have, but their staff (maybe sommelier) suggested a replacement which was great with the steak.
Overall, we enjoyed our evening, the food experience, the service, and the room. Check out the photos to see the attention to the details for the food.
