Came here for a birthday dinner at the end of summer – and everything was fantastic. We had a mix of starters and main courses – and everything was absolutely perfect. Beautiful interior design too - with lots of (old) and traditional tiles and decorations on the walls. Would highly recommend if you are in town to give O Rafaiol a try!

We were booked into Taste (over the road) who provided appalling service and left us without a meal on our final day of our holiday. Luckily Restaurante O Rafaiol were able to accommodate us very quickly and boy, how lucky we were. Fantastic service, fantastic atmosphere and - hands down - one of the best steaks I've had in years. If you're in town, book a night here.

Traditional Portuguese Restaurant and terrace. Wonderful Big Prawns and delicious cataplana with Monkfish and shellfish. Very welcoming atmosphere, live music on Thursday makes this excellent value for money and the BEST Carvoeiro has to offer!

We loved our experience at O Rafaiol! Oysters were delicious and the grilled prawns as well, the kids enjoyed the salmon filets and potatoes with bits of bacon. Service was excellent as well, Abi made sure we were taken care of. Would definitely recommend!
