Not enjoyed dinner here before, only the fantastic lunch.
Wow.
The garlic prawns were delicious, almost like little lobster.
The fillet steak was cooked perfectly. I preferred it with rice and salad, which was ideal. Finished with the best mushroom sauce I've tasted!!!
Service is friendly, it's a family restaurant, and I just regret not trying their evening menu sooner! (Too busy eating to photograph!)

We had such a lovely family meal at Recanto da Boavista. I went with my husband and my 2 year old. The staff are lovely and very helpful and attentive and the food was AMAZING. I only photographed the prawns because I was too busy enjoying the other dishes to photo them.

We dined here tonight and it fully deserves my 5 stars. The food was fantastic, my wife and I both had steak. We have eaten out most nights since arriving ten days ago and this place has to be my favourite . The level of service from the two gentlemen who served us was at a level you rarely find at a tourist resort. It was more like what I would expect from a top London restaurant . So nice to see people take such pride in their work.

Had lunch here today and sat on the terrace. We ordered both daily specials, which was kebab with french fries, rice and salad, and the other one was octopus rice. Both dishes were delicious, the meat very tender. Desserts were really good as well. We paid € 14.50 each, and that included bread, olives, drinks (wine and beer), and coffee.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. Very busy with the locals, always a good sign! Thank you, we will be back for sure.

3 Courses with a drink, Small menu done to perfection & a bargain of 14.50 euros per head, finishee off with complimentary Portugese firewater!!
We have been meaning to come here upon passing many times over the year, our only regret is not coming sooner!!
We came for a drink yesterday & was informed of the menu today to which we returned!!
Food perfect, Drinks are great, Service from Andrèa was Faultless, Great welcoming fella with a Top Customer interaction & service.Highly recommed Recanto do Boavista
