A little gem in a very small village, but with a big heart. Had great home made Portuguese food, olives, cheese and cured meat, followed by Lamb and Cuttlefish, simple but full of flavor of the sea and land. And finally the home made Crème Brûlée to die for.
We had exhausted our cash at the Saturday Market in Loule, but hey we’re so accommodating and asked for a bank transfer, even though it took 3 days to clear.
Thanks for your beautiful food and generosity. Highly recommend this place, if you want to experience Portuguese home cooking and flavors.

The best food I have eaten in Portugal this year (2023). Super tasty, authentic served in wonderful family atmosphere. It was full of locals on a Wednesday lunchtime in low season. I understand why. Prices very good too.

An absolute gem amidst the countryside. It is a family-run restaurant where you really feel welcome. We were lucky to come by and get served without a reservation, although do not count on it.
There were only two types of food on the day but both of them were delicious in a most homely way.
The server is very kind and chatty, and the prices are almost too good.
