Salsada do Zé

This beachside restaurant is fantastic for food, drinks, and service. Located on Praia da Rocha, it offers stunning views of the beach. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch only and features plenty of outdoor seating. The decor is clean and modern.

The male server excels at making guests feel welcome, greeting and engaging in friendly conversation with customers. The piña colada is a delight and definitely worth returning for. The food is fresh and exceptionally flavorful. It’s a shame they don’t offer dinner service, as their offerings easily surpass those of other establishments and tourist traps nearby.

The atmosphere is friendly and peaceful, enhanced by the playful nature of the host and the other servers. I highly recommend this restaurant as a perfect spot to relax after sunbathing on Praia da Rocha.

Beautiful location, on the beach. Fast, friendly service. Food was fresh and tasty. Caesar chicken wrap had a light crunch on the tortilla and a creamy, tangy flavor on the chicken.

Awesome squid and sea bass dishes. Cocktails are on the sweet/weak side but tasted fine. Friendly staff. Priced for tourist area.

Although the sign decor is a little dated, trust me, this place has great food!

Food was delicious, ordered the baby squids algarve style and portion was HUGE, could easily feed two people and price was extremely reasonable at €13.50 - boyfriend's first time eating squid and he really liked it!

Really good place to spend your time away from the sun, but at the same time benefit from it while seated in the outside area.

Nothing was left uneaten - every single time. It was that good. 😉

Tried the Bacalhau do Zé - house specialty. Packed with stew flavours, fresh fish & seafood. Paired with a white wine sangria- super refreshing. 🥂
Grilled fresh seabass - the fish was practically falling off the bones. 👌🏻
One starter was fried cod - generous portion. 😍

Dessert: chocolate mousse.
