Great restaurant just a few minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the square. The service was great as well as the food. Super kid friendly and awesome cute meals for the kiddos

The squid was probably the best I had in this region. The fish was also very good. They have drink specials which is very reasonable.

I definitely recommend trying the ribs. The meat was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. The sauce was full of flavor, and the side of potatoes and grilled vegetables paired really well with the dish. The ravioli had a delicious sauce too—just a bit on the small side in terms of portion. If it were a little larger, it would be absolutely perfect! :) As for the brownie, it was amazing with the salted caramel ice cream. It was more than enough for two people to share comfortably.

The ambiance was lovely and the staff were genuinely kind and attentive. In my opinion, this is the best restaurant to visit in Carvoeiro. The ones along the beach tend to be overly touristy and lack real flavor.

Also, a big thank you for the complimentary liqueurs—they were a lovely touch!

I came in around 9.30pm and asked if it was still possible to get some dinner. They kindly accepted & even let me change tables since the live music was a bit too loud for my liking.
The food then, was also impeccable. Great small gesture from the chef, fried octopus for starter and the lamb shank as Main course. And desert was the brownie, because the lava cake was unfortunately sold out...
Overall, all courses were great, and the service was also very good! Especially one guy and girl who were were really nice, even though I stayed passed opening hours! The other was nice but was a bit rushed.
But yeah, conclusion, very very good dinner for a very very good price! Would certainly recommend!

We had an excellent dinner at Taste last night. When you can impress my 93 year old mother in law, you know you are onto a good thing. We had a large selection of the tapas and all was good except perhaps for the beef skewers which were a bit chewy, but not enough to complain about. The service was impeccable from the delightful young staff. All of us thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you.
