Stumbled onto this place. Was on our way to the fort and saw a road which looked like it lead to the beach. Ended up spending a couple hours here. Very secluded, but one of the most amazing beaches I’ve ever seen. Cash only small cafe. Parking will be an issue if it’s busy, but it’s worth a walk if you can’t park close.

Great beach when also viewed from above. The day we visited the wind was pretty strong so there were not many surfers out.
You have to walk down to the beach from the car parking up there top.

Really nice beach right under the Sagres Fortaleza.
Perfect place to enjoy the beach and the ocean, the water is not super cold and it is quite easy to take a bath.
There is the bar renting the surfs with possibility to take surf lessons.
For parking consider leaving the car in the nearest Fortaleza parking space and then walk 10min to the beach.
