We enjoyed Fado with excellent food on a Tuesday night … the highlight of our two weeks at the Algarve in November 2021.

If you are looking for a place to enjoy a Fado night, here it is. Food is delicious, service is also great, I had 'beef on the stone' (bife na pedra) very worth of trying it. Also, the Fado itself is great, they sing so good and well. I had a very good and pleasant experience, absolutely I would go again. Just a little tip: if you are in a big group, better do a reservation.

We've been visiting this restaurant since 2005 and it never disappoints. Very friendly service with extensive traditional Portuguese menu which all tastes fantastic. Best eating out experience we encounter every time. Great to have lunch also when visiting the zoo which is highly recommended.

We actually went to the adjacent restaurant although, from previous visits, I can highly recommend the zoo. We had a wonderful Xmas meal in a great environment for a very reasonable price. This is why I chose to spend the festive season in Portugal.

You eat divinely and at a more than good price! Do not miss the octopus, the goat cheese with berries, the lamb chops (suuuper), and the flambé shrimp. If you go on a Tuesday, you will see the Fado show for free.
