With kids or no kids this place is a must see place. Highly recommended place. It is different price different hours. We paid for 3 people 70€ for 1.30 o clock.
It so relaxing to sit and to see the fishes. You also have otters, puffins and penguins there. The dragonfish was stunning 😍
Not crowded
And outside there is a beautiful place to walk with lots of restaurants.

I would 100% recommend this aquarium to absolutely everyone (even if you dont like aquariums). This is the best aquarium i have ever been too, it genuinely made me feel emotional at some points, which was completely unexpected! The fresh water tank designed by Takashi Amano is absolutely incredible me and my partner could have sat there for hours ! (The music and lighting just made it such an immersive experience), infact after walking the entire aquarium we asked staff if we could circle around again JUST to see this 1 exhibit because it was truly that amazing! (We both discussed how if we were fish we would HAPPILY live in this tank because WOW). All of the animals have beautiful and appropriate environments, our favourite species were the leafy seahorse and the sea otters and sunfish !10/10 experience cannot express enough.

Great museum for kids and adults. Beautiful design and very educational. One of the most amazing ocean museums in the world. Highly recommend allocating at least two hours to visit. The shop and the restaurant are at the end and they have lockers for eur 1 at the entrance if you need to leave your things.

A mesmerizing journey into the deep – visually stunning and educational.
The Lisbon Oceanarium is world-class. It is not just about seeing fish; it is an immersive experience that perfectly balances entertainment with serious education.
The central tank is the masterpiece, allowing you to see the marine life from two different levels. But the highlight for me was the projection room. We watched a documentary about the importance of ocean conservation that was deeply moving and well-produced.
We were lucky to visit when there were no crowds, which allowed us to enjoy the exhibits in peace and really appreciate the tranquility of the "underwater" atmosphere. A perfect 5-star experience.

I wanted to like it more (I absolutely did not dislike it), and maybe I wasn't in the right mood for it, but it wasn't 5 stars for me. There is definitely a lot to appreciate. The tank is clearly huge with many fish and creatures at their different levels.
Much of the time you are in very dim lighting which makes watching what's going on in the tank easier and maybe more dramatic. There is a plethora of side tanks to observe all kinds of additional sea life.
It is absolutely a wonderful place and a great place to bring kids. If you're an ocean enthusiast: amazing place for you.
It has a terrific, large gift shop. Definitely worth a peek.
